This year for the first time SFT-India received a diverse group of students and professionals from Thailand. Through the one-week intensive immersion in the Tibetan exile community, the Thai group learnt about Tibetan culture, contemporary politics, history, activism, ongoing campaigns, exile democratic processes and delved into Tibetan Buddhism as well. It was our deep honour to host this group, and share concerns of Tibet’s fragile environment, and we look forward to collaborating together in the near future.
